We don't have real communication anymore, but was just wondering if anyone knew if they still planned on doing something with the park. I thought (just by the info that I gathered from our annual meeting) that something would be at least started by now....but it looks the same today as it did months ago. And are we still having our annual BBQ? Its a little delayed. I guess that will get skipped...

Sadly, the board of directors has decided to stop communicating with homeowners. No newsletters, no website posts, no meeting minutes. nothing. So, we officially have no news on what the board is doing.
From earlier posts, I believe the board cancelled the annual BBQ. I know that they offended the usual sponsors, and I'm sure that played into it.
As for the park, that's actually controlled by Pearland Parks & Recreation. You might give them a call to get a status.
The board should be meeting on Thursday at LPI. I suggest stopping by. |

| The did decide not to do the BBQ because of budget. My family and I were actually the ones that started the BBQ when we moved in on our own. We missed it this year. My wife and I have been talking about doing it without the board. I'll post something this weekend to see what the interest is. |

| The park area expansion is still being planned. There were a number of items which needed to be signed off on by the city and a timeline for start/completion should be available soon and I will post it here once I hear from the Parks Dept. |
