When I announced the savings on the solar lighting, I was in error on the amount of savings. One too many "0's". The correct savings amount is under $1000. I apologize for the confusion. _________________ Rob Nunez |

Rob,
Thanks for the clarification. That number is a lot closer. Is that $1000/year all for electricity, though? I'm still curious where that $1000 is coming from.
Does the $1000/year savings take into account the $1200/year maintenance that these specific solar lights have?
If you don't mind me asking, how much did the overestimated savings play into the decision to go with the more expensive lighting?
Given that we have a corrected number for savings, is the board going to halt the installation of the solar lights at the Magnolia entrance and go with the traditional lighting? No sense spending more money than we have to, right? |
